My earliest memories of Donald were from a very young age when he was first married and living in my aunt's small apartment. I can remember seeing him and Carolyn walking up, smiling and laughing. That smile always was there to greet you and let you know how glad he was to see you again. He will truly be missed. Our prayers will be with all of you. Donald is now with Carolyn continuing to smile down on us all.

I had the privilege of knowing Mr. Sarradet from the many years I worked at Maison Blanche. He was a kind and gentle person--I always smiled when I saw him! He was a good family man who cared about people, and I know He is now with the Lord in Heaven. My sincere condolences to his family, as I know this a great loss to them. They are all in my thoughts and prayers.

Your father was a wonderful man! He and my mother worked together for 25 years at Goudchaux/Maison Blanche. She considered him to be one of her dear, dear friends and colleagues. My mom, Flo Bruser, passed away Sept. 18th, 2006.

Our thoughts and prayers and love are with all of you. He will certainly be missed. He is with God now and in peace.

I was so sorry to hear of Mr. Donald's death. I thought the world of him. He was such a sweet person and he was really proud of his family. You'all did a wonderful job of taking care of him thru the last couple of months. What love everyone showed in his care. It touched me so much. Cherish the wonderful memories you have of your Dad and the love he had for each one of you.
You will be in my thoughts and prayers. Sorry I couldn't be there for the services as I am in Colorado. I told him to take care of himself until I got home, but I guess God had other plans for him. There are no better plans than God's. Know that he is rejoicing with Carolyn now and watching over each of you from his window in heaven.
Love,
Cindy Crochet

What a privilege to have to have known this exceptional man defined by his faith ,character, integrity and love for God, family and fellow man. Truly Don was such a blessing to me ,my staff and so many others. I will miss his sense of humor and dry wit. Sadly this is the passing of an era but we rejoice in Don's lessons and examples of a life well lived.........Pat Janet'

Donald was asked to be my Parrain at the age of 12! That's how they did it ''back then''.
I shall always remember visiting him at Goudchaux's any time we were there. We got big smiles and hugs each and every time no matter how busy he was....such fond memories.

I was thrilled to see Donald last year at Allen Tullier's funeral.

With love,
Carolyn Dranguet Broussard

Our hearts are heavy with the lost of Donald. As a little girl I remember going to his wedding and going over to his first apartment and "Bugging " Donald and Carolyn and seeing her beautiful wedding dress hanging in the hall. Donald always had a big warm smile and a loving hug for you . Keep that big smile in your mind in the days ahead and know he is at peace. You are in my thoughts and prayers.
