Donna Bowers Lang, 85, passed away peacefully on August 30, 2024, in Richmond, Virginia. Born on July 14, 1939, in Butler, Pennsylvania, she was the cherished daughter of the late Rita and William Bowers.

Donna dedicated many years as a legal assistant at Oblon, Spivak, McClelland, Maier & Neustadt, where she was respected for her professionalism and kindness. Beyond her professional life, Donna was a devoted lover of animals, sharing her home and heart with her beloved pets, KitKat and Dippie.

Described as caring and unassuming, Donna's gentle presence and compassionate nature touched many lives. She is survived by her son, Charles B. Swaim; daughter-in-law, Linda B. Swaim; and granddaughters, Whitney L. Swaim and Katie S. Mehta. She was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher P. Lang; sons, Gregory W. Swaim and Howard R. Swaim; brothers, Alan Patterson and Gary Bowers; and her parents.

In lieu of flowers, contributions in Donna's memory can be made to the Alzheimer's Association or a local animal shelter or SPCA, reflecting her love for animals and commitment to charitable causes.

Arrangements for Donna are being handled by Woody Funeral Home in Richmond, Virginia, where her life will be celebrated and remembered.
