Doreen Browder

BROWDER, Doreen, 71, of Ooltewah, Tenn., died Friday, September 21, 2007, in a local health care facility. A native of Tampa, she had been a resident of the Chattanooga, Tenn., area for the past 38 years and was retired from EPB and also was a former employee of Goodwill Industries. She was the daughter of the late Leslie and Hyacinth Tavares and was preceded in death by a sister, Claire Stewart, and a brother, Leslie Tavares, M.D.. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Grace and George Edrington, Ooltewah; two grandsons, Doug Edrington and Tyler Edrington; three sisters, Greta Meeks and Gloria Owens, both of Tampa, and Pricilla Trimmier of Safety Harbor, Fla.; and two brothers, Gerald Tavares of Tarpon Springs, Fla., and Raymond Tavares, Tampa. Graveside funeral services will take place at 10:30 a.m. Thursday at Myrtle Hill Memorial Park in Tampa.
