Doris OSHANYK Obituary
Doris Oshanyk of Lac La Biche, AB passed away on Sunday, October 6, 2013 at the age of 87.
She will be forever missed by her family, children Lorraine Pruden of Lac La Biche, Marcy (Karen) Oshanyk of Edmonton, Bonnie (Joe) Landman of Whitecourt, daughter-in-law, Yvone Oshanyk of Hinton, grandchildren Brad, Robert, Nadine, Bob, Lisa, Chad, Jeffrey, Vince, Amy, Mark and Dane, great-grandchildren Russel, Kendra, Reagan, Brie, Sophia, Haidyn, and Ryker, sister Anne (Bob) Haley of Edmonton, numerous nieces and nephews who loved her dearly and always wrote her letters and phoned often. Doris is predeceased by her husband Fred (1992), son Dennis (2000), and son-in-law Willie (2003).
A Services will be held on Friday, October 11, 2013 at 1:00 p.m. at the Evangelical Free Church in Lac La Biche. No interment. Officiating will be Pastor Emmanuel Chiwele.
Memorial Contributions can be made to the charity of your choice.

I worked with Doris for several years when I first moved to Redwater. I will remember her for her sense of humor and her friendliness. My condolences to all of the family.

Sorry to hear of your Mom, Lorraine. I remember her when I lived in Lac La Biche. I went to school with you when you were dating Pruden. I was a close friend of Robert and we used to hang around with Gordon Cadieux. Robert and I kept in contact for a long time, till he went to work on the Rigs and I moved to Edmonton. Lost contact with him then. I sure would love to talk to him now and see how life is treating him.
