SHARPE Dorothea Lewis Sharpe, age 86, wife of Evertt E. Sharpe, of Soundview Avenue, Shelton, died Tuesday, February 11, 2003, at Griffin Hospital, Derby. She was born May 29, 1916, in Ansonia, daughter of the late Thomas and Jeanette Davenport Lewis. She worked as a billing clerk for Derby Gas and Electric, and as pay master for the Star Pin Co., Shelton. She served as a leader of Girl Scout troop of Huntington section of Shelton, and was active as a Brownie leader. In addition to her husband, Evertt, she is survived by her son, Donald and his wife, Audrey Sharpe of Woodbury; her daughter, Susan and her husband, Ronald East of Shelton; eight grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by one daughter, Carol Feld; one sister, Grace Jacunski; two brothers, George and Edwin Lewis. Funeral services will be held on Saturday at 1 p.m. from the First Baptist Church, 178 Leavenworth Road, Shelton. Burial will be held in Lower White Hills Cemetery, Shelton, at the convenience of the family. Friends may call on Saturday, at the church 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. before the service begins. Friends who wish may make donations in Dorothea s memory to the church. The Jenkins King Funeral Home, 12 Franklin Street, Ansonia, is entrusted with arrangements.
