Dorothy M. (Zamel) Baker November 10, 1923 - February 05, 2013 Dorothy passed away peacefully surrounded by loved ones. A wonderful wife, mother, grandmother (Nana), great grandmother and great, great grandmother. Dorothy was born in Monolith, California to William and Elsie Patch. Dorothy is preceded in death by her husband Edward Zamel, her parents: Bill and Elsie Patch, her brother Bill, her sister Maggie and her daughter Susan. She is survived by her daughters: Dorothy Ellen Smith and Gloria Jeanne Whitted, grandchildren: Victoria (Vikki) Sullivan-Cubero, Pam Sullivan, Michael Sullivan, Eddie Smith, Monique Moore, Randy Smith, Haunani Kinsaul, Billie Whitted III, Cindy Coelho-Bunker and Tim Coelho, her great grandchildren: Tasha Cubero, Felicia Davis, Matthew Moore, Joshua Moore, Zachary Sullivan, Amanda Smith, Beth Smith, Kellie Slater, Christopher Kinsaul, Jason Kinsaul, Scarlette Whitted, Blaine and Aaron Smith and Collin and Connor Coelho-Bunker; great great grandchildren: Christopher (CJ) Slater, Abigail Slater, Victor Cubero-Handy (Bubba), Katelynne Davis, her niece Tina Atchison, her nephew Butch Atchison and many other family members. Graveside services are scheduled for Saturday, February 23, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Greenlawn Cemetery on River Road in Bakersfield, California.
