Douglas Casey Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Nov. 12, 2018.
Dougie "Fresh" Casey

November 29th 1967 - November 8th 2018

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of Dougie. He is survived by his parents, Douglas Arthur Casey Sr., Margaret Lewis and Leah McKenzie, and uncle, Mike and aunt, Joy Corkum, whom he considered his other parents. He will live on always through his loving wife, Kelly Casey. Children, Chelsea, Alyssa, Douglas Junior "DJ", Madison, Chase. Grandchildren, Camden and Ella; brother-in-law, Michael Fillmore (Rhonda). His wife's family, James, Debbie, Jimmy, Cory, and Melissa Melvin. His extended family, Calvin Krista and Brooke Avery. His fur babies, Niko and Prada, and far too many to name Family and Friends.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, James Corkum and Beatrice Burns, Henry and Bertha Casey, sister, Jaimie Deyoung, cousin, Tammy Murray and close friends, Bobby Flemming and Wayne Cluett. We will always remember his big sense of humour, his smile, his laugh, the continuously repeated corny jokes, your tormenting ways, your passion for racing and boating, and the many phone calls you would make about aliens and UFO sightings to everyone who would listen.

Funeral arrangements are under the care of J.A. Snow Funeral Home, 339 Lacewood Drive. Cremation has taken place and we ask that you join us in a Celebration of Life, Friday, November 16th from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM.

Donations may be made to Laps for Muscular Dystrophy in Douglas' name.
