My deepest sympathies to the Lathrop family. Doug and I were co-workers at BIW on control systems for years. He was such a bright, curious, competent individual and a pleasure to work with. We had some good times traveling around the country and making sea stories on shipboard trials.

Please accept my deepest sympathy in Doug's passing. I will hold fond memories of blueberry picking in Bangor, many years ago. I think I remember a neighbor Arthur and a summer crush!
