PINAY-On Saturday, October 4, 2008, The Creator took our dad Douglas Pinay home. He will meet again with his beloved wife Florence, his daughter Margaret, his grandson Sheridon, his great grandson Kyle, his parents Noel Sr. and Jenny, his brothers and sisters: Lesley, Noel Jr., Florence, Lena, and Pearl who went before him to help prepare his place. He is survived by his sons: Wayne (Carol) and their children Kim (Dana) Greyeyes, Muskeg Lake FN, Everett (Tammy), Pasqua F.N., Carlin (Jen), Lebret, SK; Elgin (Lorraine) and their children Jason (Ivy), Phoenix, Arz., Cordell, Peepeekisis F.N., Brydon (Maria), Fort Qu'Appelle and Shelanda (Cam), Fort Qu'Appelle; daughters: Eunice and her children Laurisa and Jenelle; Lorena and her daughter Sharis. Also survived by his great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, traditionally adopted children, and nieces and nephews too numerous to mention. The wake will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 7, 2008 at 5:00 p.m., the feast is on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 11:00 a.m., and the funeral mass will be celebrated as well as services by traditional elders on Wednesday, October 8, 2008 at 2:00 p.m., all in the Peepeekisis Pesakastew School, Peepeekisis First Nation, SK. Interment in the Pinay Family Cemetery. The family would like to thank Eunice, Lorena, Laurisa, Jenell & Meldon for the great care they took of our dad and Mushum, and also the Health Care Workers at the File Hills Qu'Appelle Tribal Council.
