I been knowing Mother Washington for a long time. I was 16 years old when i first met her i called her my mother ever since i met her she will always pray for me when i ask her to pray for me. I didn't have to tell her what was wrong with me she will already know what is wrong she will say it already done and God already worked it out now lift your head up and go on . I'm going to miss her very much and I will see her again.

May God continue to comfort and strengthen the family of Mother Gwendolyn Washington.
As a young lady growing up in Washington Temple COGIC, I remember Mother Washington’s enthusiasm, drive, and faithfulness to the Crusade/Prison Ministry. She had a passion for soul winning, with a sincere love for people. I aspired to be a member of the Crusaders.
Mother Washington fulfilled Acts 1:8, to be a witness in Jerusalem, Judaea, Samaria and unto the uttermost part of the earth, leading countless souls to Jesus Christ. She was a woman of prayer; a mighty prayer warrior.
May the life Mother Washington lived and the example she demonstrated be a source of comfort and encouragement to the family. Our Heavenly Father is your present help and the comfort of all comfort today and the days ahead.

Ma, you taught me so much. I prayed for a spiritual mother and God sent me the best to ever do it. All of the love, rebukes and good eating did not go in vain. I learned a wealth of wisdom that’s still being unpacked to this day. I love you so much and you will be missed tremendously.

Mama, you always called me your namesake because we are both named Gwendolyn. We both have birthdays in October. We've traveled together on planes, cars you name it. When I would call you or you'd call me, the first question that I'd have is where are you because you traveled all the time for the Lord. Now it's time to take your rest. Nother Washington was a beautiful sweet lady since I was a child growing up at Washington Temple my sister remember her she was a sweet lady her brothers and sisters . I remember her children. I give my condolences to the Washington family Rip Mother Washington.

Pat and Fedie,
May God's peace be your comfort. Mother has had a great influence in my life. She taught me to pray, serve and love in the most difficult situations. Ive learned to serve in prison ministry with her up and down NY state. I'll miss her laugh and her wisdom. We've had a good conversation about two months ago. I'll miss her!
I'm one of her daughters born out of her teaching and influence.

Mother Washington, You have earned your crown. I will miss you, I remember meeting you in new members class in 2014, your love, your wisdom, your grace, and you presence now one to be remembered. You pushed me into being a prayer warrior often telling me you have a gift and placing me on the prayer line. Although I didn’t understand it over the years I’ve seen God move in my life and others that connected to me because of my prayer life. Mother thank you for allowing God to use you and help push me into a mighty prayer warrior. I’ll forever miss you and I love you endlessly.
