Dr Sue was my orthodontist. She was ahead of her time in options for straightening teeth with her palette expander. I did not want to take out any teeth and she said and you shouldn't have to!!! lets make room for them! she absolutely loved her work and every time saw her over the years I drove to Hammond especially for her she ALWAYS had a pep in her step doing what she loved for her clients. Really brought me to tears to find this news this morning. She will be remembered.

The LeBlanc and Cooper Family

My deepest sympathies and prayers -- my thoughts and prayers will continue . I regret I will not be able to attend services. Sue was such a Special Person in my life and I will not forget the many memories I have especially during the time that I lived in Loranger. I actually look forward in going to the Dentist to visit and to see Sue. She made a "Different" in everyone life she meet that day. She was smart, beautiful, and always achieve "Extraordinary" in everything she did.

Love Always

Shocked and saddened upon hearing of Sue's death, my heart goes out to her family, whom she dearly loved. As a dental colleague, her passion and dedication to providing the absolute best dental care to her patients was evident in every delightful occasion to talk with Sue. But there was rarely a conversation that didn't also include some example of her love and devotion for her husband and children. Your hearts must be breaking. She always had time for a big smile between intense periods of discussion on dental topics which inevitably involved taking care of her patients or sharing her knowledge to help other dentists do the same. I knew her to be super smart, hard working, and good hearted, and in many ways was way ahead of her time. She will be missed, and remembered with respect and fondness. Thank you Sue for sharing time with me from time to time and helping me to be a better dentist, too.

Sue has been both dentist and friend to me since I returned to Hammond after graduate school. She was such a good and caring dentist, always striving to keep learning. I had every confidence in her. I also loved all the stories she told me of her children and grandchildren, and a few things about her own youth. Always filled with energy and caring. OMG..I will truly miss her. Go with God, Dr. Sue. We will all miss you.

words cannot express my sadness when I heard SUE had passed. we were friends since 1985. I Sought her as my dentist that year and we bonded as friends. I had the privilege. of caring for her late husband Joe back then and again several years later before his passing. We used to sit in her office discussing her upcoming dental presentations and her family.I would alway be filled in on the latest with Joey and Michelle. She was so concerned about her patients and always saw the person not just the dental needs. She was a special, spiritual person. When you look up caring, professionalism, and dentistry perfection in a medical dictionary, her face will appear. My heart is broken . Glenn Johnson MD

Some of my kind words for all of us left behind to live in a world without the very special Sue Cooper LeBlanc. I worked for Sue for many many years and every day she would amaze me with her intelligence, talent, generosity kindness and her wit. It was my pleasure to complete each day with nothing but beauty and perfection. I was truly blessed to work by her side for so long. She was so proud of her children that followed in her footsteps. We are all blessed that they are here to continue her legacy of greatness and perfection.

We hate that her departure was so quick.
Sue was way to powerful to get sick.
God took her the only way he knew how.
To everyone that love Sue " How do we live now?"

My sincere condolences to the entire family. I have been Dr. Sue's patient for over 40 plus years. I always felt that I was getting the best care possible under her care. She was conscientious, dedicated, professional, knowledgeable, and always had her patient's best interest at heart. I also considered her a friend. She will be greatly missed.

Such a sad loss for her patients who have become family through the years. Sue always took the time to be personable with inquiring about our family and in turn sharing her family event. She took such pride in her work as if each patient was her own family member. I will miss our visits while she diligently worked on my teeth. May God wrap His comforting arms around her family in the days ahead. Sue was such a charming lady who treated everyone with love.

Such a tragic loss to Sue's family, her many friends and blessed colleagues. She was the consummate professional and class act I learned such much from Sue, and I cherish the memories of her very early morning phone calls, our meetings and our local and travel CE Courses together. The only consolation for those of us who loved her is to know that she is in heaven with our Lord Jesus and her husband Joe, whom she treasured as her best friend, husband, father to her children and practice and business manager.
May our Dear Lord comfort her loving family, her dedicated team, devoted patients and adoring friends and colleagues. She will be missed by so many lives that she touched. Catherine A Hebert, DDS (and Steven Carpenter)

No words can express how shocked and saddened we are at Sue's untimely passing. We wish that times were different and the we could join Joey, Michelle and the family to celebrate Sue's amazing life. We know they are surrounded by a community that loved and held Sue in high esteem and who will now comfort them. I will always remember fondly my first sister-in-law who when I was young was like the big sister I never had. God bless you, Sue.
