Dr. William Edward Byrne

Dr. William Edward Byrne was born on November 4, 1936, in East Liverpool, Ohio, to Robert Lee Byrne and Noal Parsons Byrne. He transitioned on December 11, 2016 in Mesquite, Texas. He was 80 years in age.

A graduate of East Liverpool High School, Dr. Byrne continued his education at Kent State University in Kent, Ohio. He earned his PhD from University of Pittsburg and enjoyed 32 years of service with Bayer Chemical Company as a chemist until he retired. 

Among many hobbies, Dr. Byrne delighted in the game of golf. He also enjoyed spending time with his family.

He was married for 51 years to the love of his life, Lisbeth Byrne, who preceded him in death. 

Those left to cherish fond memories include his daughter, Carrie Wheeler and her husband, Tad, of Baytown, Texas; son, John Byrne of Garland, Texas; son, Patrick Byrne and his wife, Anna, of Allen, Texas; son, Jesse Byrne and his wife, Karen, of Edmond, Oklahoma; and grandchildren: Zachary Byrne, Riley Byrne, Casey Byrne, Katelyn Byrne, Gabrielle Byrne, Jenna Byrne, and Bailee Byrne.
