Duane Lee Miller, 75, of Hot Springs Village died Jan. 27, 2011. He was born Dec. 22, 1935, in Amarillo, Texas, to the late Elmer Lee Miller and the late Fern Scriven Miller.

He served in the Army Artillery and was an electrical engineer. Duane retired from Rockwell Automation, Lubbock, Texas, and immediately moved to the Village. He was a member and faithful servant of God at Village Bible Church, serving on the Trustee Board, Budget Committee and Outreach Ministry Team. He was past president of HSV Heifer Club and Potter's Clay Ministry Board. Duane enjoyed friends, fly fishing, Bible Study Fellowship, Men's Cooking Class, Audubon Club, and woodworking.

Duane was preceded in death by his first wife and the mother of his children, Barbara Tinney Miller.

Survivors include his wife of 21 years, Rosemary Quinn Purvis Miller; daughter, Anne Inglish (Jeff) of Katy, TX; son, Russell Miller (Sally) of Drummonds, TN; sister, Joyce Miller Stuart (Bob) of Lewisville, TX, and their children, Denise Stuart and Greg Stuart (Elaine), and their children, Brooke, David and Michael; grandchildren: Jordan, Davis, Connor and Blake Inglish, and Bailey and Barbara Miller; great-granddaughter, Autumn Miller; stepsons, Randy Purvis (Pam), Southlake, TX, and Rich Purvis (Diana), Cypress, TX; and step-grandchildren, Matt and Megan Purvis and Ashley and Chris Purvis.

Memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, February 12th, in Resthaven Funeral Home Chapel with inurnment to follow in Resthaven Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Village Bible Church Memorial Fund, Potter's Clay Ministry, or Arkansas Hospice. Guests may register at http://www.caruth-hale.com.
