Peacefully passed, June 25, 2014. Loving husband of Shanta; loving father of Courtney L. and Dior I. Williams; loving son of Duane and Marie Williams; loving brother of Mark, Sr. and Anton Williams; loving grandson to Vivian Brooks; and a host of family and friends. Friends may call Wednesday 4-8 p.m. at White Lily Baptist Church, 3621 Chartiers Ave., Pittsburgh. Funeral Ceremony Thursday 11 a.m. Interment private. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to American Cancer Society. Arrangements entrusted to WHITE MEMORIAL CHAPEL OF POINT BREEZE.

I was sorry to learn of Duane's passing. Duane was my teammate and friend. My sympathies to his mother and father and little Mark; also my teammate. I remember Duane's smile and sense of humor.

I'm going to miss the laughter and encouragement from Duane!! If it was not for you, I would not be the person that I am today. I never thought that our paths would go so differently in life, but I will always remember playing football in Sheraden with Duane. The sadness speaks for itself. But I remember meeting Duane when we were around 8 or 9 years old. I heard of this big running back we were going to be playing against, and then, there he was! I remember that first meeting vividly. His spirit is eternal and he will live forever. Rest peacefully, my friend. Blessings!

i like Duane from the first time i meant him down stratton OH. He was a mans man always worked hard and full of laughs. i worked with him and for him and he was the same guy he never let the power go to his head. I will miss the laughs.

Duane will be missed by every one that he knew he was a fun and heartful guy I am glad that I got to know him he was like a big brother to me he was my family too. I could ask and talk to him about anything. He helped me alot and was there for me when Mark Mihalic Sr. passed away. Words can't express how much he meant to me.
