Ebba North Obituary
After a courageous battle with breast cancer, our Norwegian "Wiolet" joined her daughter, Theressa and brother Finn-Gunnar in heaven on Saturday, May 18th, 2013. Ebba was a care giver to all in need, a teacher to those who listened and a great supporter within her community and church. She was very active with Community Living, Homewell, Hearth Place and Bereaved Families and was recently commemorated for her 40yrs of dedication to H & R Block. A collector of endless stories, Scandinavian traditions and family memories that she enjoyed sharing with others. We will miss our Gingerbread Queen. Loving wife of 46yrs to Bill; admired & greatly loved mother of Christena & son-in-law Russell. Sadly missed by her sister Gretha & sister-in-laws Carol, Linda, Ethel, Fern & brother-in-law Trevor; Lovingly remembered by her 2 granddaughters, Arial & Sierra; Fondly missed by nieces, nephews & friends as well as cousins in California & Norway. Memorial Services will be held at CHRIST THE KING LUTHERAN CHURCH, 1825 Manning Rd, Whitby, on Thursday May 30th at 11am. Donations can be given in honour of Ebba to Christ the King Church. Arrangements entrusted to OSHAWA FUNERAL HOME, 847 King Street West (905-721-1234).

My deepest sympathy for your loss. Ebbs was a very special person and gave so much to the church. She was a very strong and compassionate individual. It has been such a pleasure to have gotten to know her, Linda Nasturzio and Family (Whitby Ont.)

My #2 mum of 31 yrs... You aleays had a smile on your face and a hug waiting in your arms. We reminiced a little in the hospital about april fools days at the house and surprise birthday parties for Christena to dressing Theressa up in Christenas clothes and walking down town and Theressa being whistled at... You were an extra special lady who will be missed on many different layers. You have been and will be thought of with much admiration, respect and gratitude. R.I.P mumma Ebba please watch over Poppa Bill and Christena, Russ and the girls. Xo
