Dear Lois and family - I never had the privilege of meeting Ed - I knew him only via e-mail as we corresponded concerning our mutual interest and love for the Gilbert family history. He provided me with many bits of information that only he could - I will always remember his kindness. My prayers are with you and your family at this time.

Sincerely,

Patty Besser

I am so sorry to hear of Ed's death. what a wonderful man he was. I had the privilege of knowing him for over 30 years. He had an infectious smile, even when things weren't going well. He studied in my Bible classes and was always very supportive. But most of all he had a great faith in God and I believe he is now free from the ills of the world and resting in the hands of our Lord. Thanks for the memories, Ed.

In Christ's love, Glen Floe

Lois and family - I just wanted to express my sympathy to you. I was priviledged to get to know Ed through ELIM and the Celebrate group. He always had a smile. He had the most wonderful outlook on life - every day was a good day to him, regardless of the demands or circumstances. We all loved calling him Grandpa Ed...he had stories for every situation. And....he shared my love of music. Ed was very special and I will miss him terribly, but am grateful that I was blessed with his friendship. We all have a special guardian angel smiling down on us now.
