Edward F. Martella, 80, of Hanford , passed away Wednesday, June 30, 2010.

The short Graveside Service will beat 11 a.m., Friday, July 9 at the Grangeville Cemetery in Armona, followed by a celebration of his life will be held at the Armona Union Academy Fireside Room, 14435 Locust in Armona.

Mr. Martella was born in Hanford on August 25, 1929, the eldest child of Frank and Mattie Martella. He was a lifelong Hanford resident and Electrical Contractor for 45 years in the community. He was a member of the Seventh-Day Adventist Church.

During the course of his adult life, he was widowed twice, by his first wife, Violet H. Martella, and by his second wife, Bessie Martella.

He is survived by his third wife, Sylvia McHenry-Martella; two daughters, Ella Martella, and Carol Nielsen and his son, Steven Martella; his brother, Lawrence Martella; two sisters, Joyce Shobe and Lorraine Viehmann; five step-children, Carlyle McHenry, Collette Forget, Michelle Baker, Melodie Frazier, and Trenton McHenry; one grandson, Kristopher Martella and; two great-grandchildren; four nieces and five nephews.
