Edward Reiff

HAZEL DELL -- Edward Reiff, 91, of Hazel Dell, died at 4:24 a.m. on Sunday (Aug. 20, 2006) at his residence. A graveside service will be 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Queen of Heaven Cemetery in Hillside. Visitation will be 6-8 p.m. today at the Bishop Funeral Home in Greenup. He was born June 4, 1916 in Memphis, Tenn., the son of Edward William and Minnie Odom Reiff. He married Mamie Margaret Ray; she died in 1981. Survivors include sons, Edward Reiff of Reston, Va., and Wayne Reiff of Hazel Dell; daughters, Margaret Garner of Casey and Joyce William of Darien; three grandchildren; three step grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren. He was also preceded in death by three brothers. Mr. Reiff had retired as a truck driver for Dohrn Transfer. He was a member of the Casey Moose. Memorials may be made to Carle Hospice.
