Edward Lewis Yaw, 61, of Lyons, Michigan, passed away on Monday, January 22nd, in Grand Rapids, Michigan. Edward was a loving father, grandfather, and great grandfather. He had a special bond with his "QB" Pamela Ferris, who was the love of his life. Edward had a knack for fixing almost anything and was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He had a vibrant personality and was known as the life of the party. Edward also found great joy in working in his shop.

Edward is survived by his children, Charles Koewers (Becca), Danielle Harrington (Tony), Jessica Troutt (Justin), and Christopher Yaw (Peggy). Grandkids Andon and Olivia Harrington, Aaron Isaac, and Ethan Koewers, and Benjamin Yaw. He is also survived by his siblings, Thomas Shong, Dennis (May) Shong, David Shong, David Yaw, Julia Edwards, and Susan Day-Greenhoe. He is also survived by his children, Charles Koewers (Becca), Danielle Harrington (Tony), Jessica Troutt (Justin), and Christopher Yaw (Peggy). Grandkids Andon and Olivia Harrington, Aaron Isaac, and Ethan Koewers, and Benjamin Yaw. He also has 2 bonus grandkids and 5 great grandkids. He has many special cousins, nieces and nephews.

Edward was preceded in death by his father, Edgar Adelbert (Dell) Yaw, and his mother, Norma Louise Yaw.

A celebration of Edward's life will be held at a future date.
