Eileen Parker Obituary
CLINTON - Eileen C. "Peaches" (McNamara) Parker, 87, died Wednesday, March 19, 2014 in Leominster Crossings, Leominster, after an illness. Her husband of 66 years, Harold R. "Squeaky" Parker, died on February 27, 2014.
She leaves two sons: Harold "Skip" Parker and his wife, Karen, of Westminster, and Scott Parker and his wife, Sarah, of Clinton; four grandchildren: Kate Parker, Eric Parker and his wife, Denise, Heather Huyser and her husband, Eric, and Craig Parker; three great-grandchildren; nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her grandson, Heath Parker, who died in 2012. Three brothers, Timothy "Dickie" McNamara, William McNamara, and James McNamara, and two sisters, Rose Sowa and Gertrude Timledge, also predeceased her.
Peaches was born and raised in Clinton, daughter of Timothy and Eileen C. (Conroy) McNamara, and was a life-long resident.
For 25 years until her retirement, she worked for the US Postal Service, as one of the first female Postmasters in the area.
She was a life-member of St. John the Guardian of Our Lady Parish, and enjoyed following the Stock Market.
A funeral Mass for Peaches will be held on Saturday, March 22, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. in St. John the Evangelist Church, 80 Union St. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. There are no calling hours. McNally & Watson Funeral Home, 304 Church St., is directing arrangements.

So sorry to hear that Peaches has gone to join Squeaky so quickly, truly they were meant to be together forever. They were a wonderful couple, we shared many a good time and lots of laughs at the restaurant. Hopefully now they are both at peace in a carefree, pain free place.

Saddened to learn of your parents passing. They were wonderful people, both caring and giving to everyone around them. They brought out the best in each other and in every person they met. Peaches & Sqeakies Family;
Today Heaven is a much better place and my family and I share share in the loss of two of the finest friends I've ever had. I will miss that early morning Birthday call to me from them without fail for the last 25 + years.

When I had my son on June 17, 1977 Eileen became a grandmother to a baby girl...I found this out when Eileen and her hubby used to come in Sam's club and talk to me..about the baby! They loved that baby girl !..Eileen was so sweet (and funny)...They were a striking couple and probably in heaven now talking about ALL their grandchildren...My sympathy to all...Kathy Green
