The last time I spoke with Eldon was out in front of Townsleys store. He told me of his 'early christmas present',the gift of the Ford truck from the girl he helped to go to college and the details of how that all came about,a moving story. Then there was the joke or funny story he always told.He asked "have you ever seen a crow that was hit by a car along side the road?I'll tell you why you haven't,they always post a lookout. The lookout says CAR! CAR! CAR! when one gets close".That was the Eldon I knew and miss.
