Eldon Robins Obituary
He was born Sept. 6, 1936, to Vander and Mable (Smith) Robins in Longview. He was a lifelong resident of the Castle Rock area.
Eldon graduated from Castle Rock High School in 1954 and furthered his education at Washington State University in Pullman. He spent two years in the Army.
He worked for Longview Fibre Co., until an industrial accident forced him to retire in the 1990's. Eldon loved to travel the world and took beautiful pictures of his adventures. He owned his own flower nursery and managed the old Castle Rock Theater in the 1950's.
He is survived by two siblings, Jack Robins and Sandee Kordenat, both of Castle Rock.
Eldon was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Judi Rose; a brother, Delbert Robins; a nephew, Steve Robins; and a niece, Kelley Goodwin.
At Eldon's request, no service will be held.
Arrangements are by Hubbard Funeral Home.

I was sorry to read about Eldon. I remember working with him where we shared information about birds. He was an expert. I saw him after he left Fibre and we had a couple of good visits. He was a good man.

Dear Sandy and Jack,
I am so sorry for the loss of your brother. I never realized that he managed the Castle Rock Theater. Remember the nursery and you riding a horse, Sandy. He sounded like a great "big brother". Dear, Eldon's Family
I had the joy of meeting Eldon while I worked at Riverbend,We would watch Jepordy and he would almost always answer every question correct, he was a very smart guy. I would bring him in word search books and he would work on those, I enjoed the stories he shared about his ponies he had and the flowers he grew and all the trips he took. I t was a complete joy to be around. Sorry for your loss.
