RAMEY, Eleanor Harrold Died January 28,2018. She was born August 3, 1907 to Robert H Harrold and Lucille Henderson Harrold in Lexington, Kentucky. She spent her formative years in Chicago, Illinois before returning to Kentucky to attend Kentucky State University. After graduation, she married her college sweetheart Marion Ramey and moved to Dayton, Ohio where Marion was teaching. She in turn also began her 30+ years of teaching with Dayton Public Schools. She was a faithful and loyal member of St. Margaret's Episcopal Church. She was an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, lnc. Beta Eta Omega Chapter, where in 2008 she was recognized as a diamond soro with more than 75 years of service. Preceded in death by her parents, brother, husband Marion. She is survived by one daughter Paula A. Ramey. Memorial services will be held Tuesday, February 13, 2018 at 11:00 am at St. Margaret's Episcopal Church, 5301 Free Pike, Trotwood, Ohio. Ivy on the Wall service 10:00 am. Family will receive friends on Monday February 12, l2018 from 4-6pm at the church. In lieu of flowers a donation to St. Margaret's in Eleanor's memory would be appreciated. Pryor Crematory and Funeral Home.
