Electra Roumeliotis, age 19, suddenly passed away on July 18, 2017. Beloved daughter of George Roumeliotis and Michelle (Larry) Rydzewski; loving sister of Antonios and Athena; cherished granddaughter of Charles and Athena Roumeliotis and John and Judi White; devoted great-granddaughter of Rena (late Guido) Scartozzi. Fond niece of Peter and Patty (Stavrakos) Roumeliotis, Deena Roumeliotis and Anthony White. Cherished cousin of Felicia, Charlie and Paul Roumeliotis and the late Morgan and Lauren White. Visitation Thursday, July 20, 4:00 pm - 9:00 pm at Chapel Hill Gardens South Funeral Home, 11333 S Central Ave, Oak Lawn, IL with Trisagion service at 6:30. Funeral services Friday, 10:00 am at St. Spyridon Hellenic Orthodox Church, 12307 S. Ridgeland Ave, Palos Heights, IL. Interment, Risen Lord Cemetery, Oswego, IL. Electra went to U of A with my son Jeff Freshman year. They were both from Illinois, so they had a friendship connection. Jeff treasured Electra as a friend and is very heartbroken by her passing. My husband and I met Electra, Athena, Michelle and Larry (and Judy) that October 2015 parents weekend. Our hearts ache for your entire families loss. May Gods peace comfort you in this time of sorrow.

I am in complete shock. I knew Electra through a program she attended in her esthetics journey. I became close with her in a short amount of time because her personality was contagious. My daughter was friends with Electra and went to school with her. Electra had a bright smile with beautiful blue eyes, and fun-loving spirit! Electra & I were in the same graduating class. She was such a great person. I haven't seen or had the chance to talk to her in a long time, but I'll always remember that she told me the last time we talked that she was there for me during a very tough time in my life.
