I recently read about Marcia C. who passed earlier this year (2023). Marcia, Elisa, Pricilla, Gus, Molly and a few others were pals at GU. I was a transfer student from CA and one year ahead. I was looking up Elisa's contact info to get in touch with her and found this news. I am deeply saddened by her demise. She was a sweet, funny and intelligent student and we all knew she would be successful in her chosen career. May she rest in peace. I will have a mass said for her at my church, Holy Redeemer here in College Park, MD Maria Alvarez-Newsom (LL'74)

Elisa lived above our family for many years. We shared wonderful chats out on the stool. My father shared her love for opera. Elisa kept an eye out for dad after my mother pass. She was a sweet, caring person who will be missed.

I am shocked and so sad. Elisa has been my friend since I walked onto Georgetown campus forty years ago. We visited in NYC once a year. She taught me to love opera, sushi and NYC . Rest well my friend

I met Elisa when we were both undergraduates at Georgetown University. We lost touch after graduation, but had come back into contact recently thanks to Facebook. She was one of the nicest, most down-to-earth people I've ever known and had a delightful smile. I am shocked and saddened by her passing and I would like to express my condolences to her family. She will be missed.
