Elizabeth (Beth) Wilson Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Oct. 29, 2024.
Elizabeth Ann Wilson (Beth), 63, of Lakeland, Florida, joined our eternal Father in Heaven on Friday, October 18, 2024. Beth was born on June 17, 1961, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Edna Butcher Statts and Charles W Statts.

Beth relocated from West Virginia to Florida during childhood, where she made lifelong friends, explored modeling and pageantry, and even appeared in a variety of commercials. She graduated from Deland High School and went on to Stetson University with the aspiration of studying law. However, her path shifted, and she embraced a life of motherhood, entrepreneurship, and management. She raised two beautiful children, she owned her own cleaning business, and later co-owned a custom countertop business with her husband, Charles Wilson (Chuck). Her life's journey was marked by a passionate commitment to family and her ventures, earning her deep respect in both her personal and professional communities. Above all, Beth treasured her role as a wife, mother, daughter, and Nana, dedicating her life to her family and friends with unwavering love and support.

Beth's vibrant spirit and warm presence left a lasting impression on everyone she met. She was a natural social butterfly, often described as the life of the party; her captivating blue eyes and radiant smile drew people to her. Beth's interests were as extensive as her personality; she enjoyed the beach, camping, traveling, and shopping. She especially cherished spending time making memories with her husband, children, grandchildren, and her beloved dachshund, Chloe.

Beth is survived by her loving family: her husband, Chuck Wilson; son Chris Russell, daughter-in-law Tiffany Crosby, and their daughter Ivy; her daughter Marlee' Chang, son-in-law Peter Lloyd, and their children Declan, Charlee, Mavryck, Nicklas, and Grayson; her nephew Austin Davila, his wife Marie Davila, and their children Bradon and Emma; and her mother, Edna Statts. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Lucille Butcher, her father, Charles Statts, and her brothers, Roland, and Michael Statts.

May those of us who love Beth, remember that her love will never truly leave us. She will walk beside us every day-unseen, unheard, but always near; knowing that she is still loved, still missed, and very dear.

Beth's legacy of love, kindness, and vibrant spirit will live on forever in all who were fortunate to know her.

A celebration of Beth's life will be announced at a future date.
