What buds of promise start to bloom in Spring,

then ripen fully in the warmth of Summer sun?

Tho' bittersweet in its dying beauty in the Fall.

Winter, and it's cold and grey

as lifeless as the ashes from yesterday's fire.

Beth , where do I begin?

Again (it's maybe forty years), I've known Beth
Now we say a last good-bye;

My first recollection of Beth was from 1970/71 center field at Gaiser Park, watching softball tourneys. She was just a rose bud youthful not yet showing the the beauty, which would she would show as I became proud to call her sister- in law. As she stood up for us when I married Sally. Then a right before our eyes she blossomed few short years later, I proudly drove her and Chuck to Deerfield Beach Fl, and act as their best- man.

Mow
And as quickly as a fall's breeze can whiff away a puff of smoke.
That old hickory wind called you home.

Just Home and Love:

Just Home and Love! the words are small
Four little letters unto each;
And yet you will not find in all
The wide and gracious range of speech
Two more so tenderly complete:
When angels talk in Heaven above,
I'm sure they have no words more sweet
Than Home and Love.

Just Home and Love!
It's hard to guess
Which of the two were best to gain;
Home without Love is bitterness;
Love without Home is often pain.
No! each alone will seldom do;
Somehow they travel hand and glove:
If you win one you must have two,
Both Home and Love.

And Beth you had them both. So what a full life you had. We can all pray for the same for all of us.

In closing I'll borrow a line from an Eagle's song.

Now my man's got it made he's far beyond the pain.

And we who must remain, go on living just the same.Our real pain is living without you

God Bless you Beth and your family.
My condolences are with all ypu. As our prayers.

Beth.... I thought of you with love today, but that is nothing new. I thought about you yesterday, and days before that too. I think of you in silence, I often speak your name. All I have are memories and a picture in a frame. Your memory is a keepsake, with which I'll never part. God has you in His keeping, I have you in my heart.

Chuck, Allan, Barb and Sally...may God wrap His loving arms around you and keep you safely in the palms of His hands.

Love to you all....
