My memories of Betty are of her kindness. I was very young but I never forgot how nice she was to me. Everyone should be so fortunate to have known her.

I was incredibly close to this wonderful woman. I loved when she used to read to me when I slept at her house as a child. I grew up on the same block as her and saw her everyday. The truth is, I have missed my grandmother for a long time now. Alzheimers is a horrible illness. It was very sad watching her deteriorate and not knowing who we were,or what day it was. She died on her wedding anniversary and went to be with my Grandfather. It makes me happy that they are together again, and she is no longer suffering from Alzheimers. Love you forever and miss you, Sue xoxo
