Ellen H. Boyer

STANHOPE - Ellen H. Boyer, of Stanhope, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 27, 2017, at the House of the Good Shepherd Retirement Community in Hackettstown, surrounded by her loving family. She was 95 years old.
She was born on Oct. 10, 1921, in Stanhope, to the late Mary (Godra) and the late Martin Hargas.
Mrs. Boyer was a lifelong resident of Stanhope. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
Ellen was a head teller at Bank of America in Dover for many years before retiring. She was an avid bowler and enjoyed watching sports.
Ellen is survived by her devoted daughter, Debra Paich and her husband, Gary; her cherished grandchildren, Lauren, Kristina, Douglas and Michael; and her great-grandson, Connor. She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Arnold, in 1984 and her son, Thomas, in 2011.
Ellen will be laid to rest privately with her husband in Stanhope Union Cemetery in Mt. Olive Twp. All services were entrusted to the Leber-Lakeside Funeral Home of Landing.
