EMILY C. GOODWIN

GOODWIN, Emily C. (Gallagher) 98 of Halifax, passed away on August 22, 2018. Born in Boston on January 2, 1920, she was the daughter of the late Francis and Maryann (Towner) Gallagher. She was employed by the Federal Reserve Bank in Boston for over 25 years. She enjoyed music, singing, dancing and playing the guitar. She also enjoyed watching old movies and cowboys. Most of all, Emily loved her faith, her family and her many friends. Emily was the beloved wife of the late William H. Goodwin. Loving mother of William and the late Mary Goodwin, Robert and Jane Goodwin, Ann and James Keegan, and Paul and Diane Goodwin. Cherished grandmother of 8, great-grandmother of 11, great-great-grandmother of 2 and aunt of many nieces and nephews. Visiting hours in the Sullivan Funeral Homes, 2 Maquan St. Cor. Rte. 14 & 58, Hanson, on Sunday, August 26th from 4-7 PM. Funeral mass will be celebrated at Our Lady of the Lake Church, 575 Monponsett St. Rte 58, Halifax on Monday at 11 AM.
