We were greatly saddened to hear of Emily's passing and we are sending our condolences to Emily family.
We tried to call and talk to her towards the end of September but she was unable to talk due to her condition so we communicated by texting each other when she had the strength to do so.
Emily was not only a good friend to us but she had developed a great bond with Tom's mother, Maryjane and helped her by taking care of many tasks that Maryjane could not do for herself. Emily's greatest strength was in her ability to put the needs of others before her own.
We miss our visits to Maynardville with Maryjane and Emily and have fond memories of the times we shared together. It breaks our hearts realizing that both of them are gone now but warms our hearts knowing that the two have been reunited in Heaven and no longer suffering. RIP Emily. Maynardville will never be the same without you. Give Maryjane a big hug for us.

I was Emily's draper installer for years. She was such a dear sweet person and I know she will be missed by everyone who knew her.

Emily and I and so many others have worked together to make Maynardville a better place for all those that are coming after us. If Emily thought it could happen-you didn´t say no to her. She lite the fire in a lot of us. Thank you Emily. You will be missed
