Eric D. Hunt

Eric D. Hunt aka "Wooga," was born on December 26th, 1970 in Gary, Indiana. A resident of Indianapolis, Indiana, Wooga was a cherished member of our family and a friend to many. He was known for his sense of humor, infectious laugh, adventurous spirit, and his famous "Wooga burgers." He was a professional truck driver of 11 years who found joy in written poetry, music,and learning. He played football in his younger years and held multiple certificates and degrees, the most notable in Sociology. Wooga touched the lives of all who knew him.

Wooga peacefully left us on March 4th, 2025, in Indianapolis, Indiana at the age of 54. He was preceded in death by his parents Prentis and Evie Hunt; sister, Deborah Noel and his niece, Sincere Hunt. He is survived by his siblings Beverly Stewart (Gary, IN), Sonya Hunt (Chicago,IL), Sherrod Hunt (Indianapolis, IN), Crystal Hunt (Michigan City, IN), Kimberly Hunt (Adamsville, AL), Demetrius Young (Noxapater, MS); aunt Lois Edmonds (Henderson, NV) and nieces and nephews Ja'mese, James, Tiffany, Tyler, Nigel, Adam, Iyanu, Nailah, Kayla, Delissa, and Kamiya. He will be fondly remembered by a host of cousins and friends.
