RUDOLPH, Erika
September 10, 1944 - August 7, 2011
Erika Rudolph passed away Sunday morning with her son by her side. Erika was born in Podlesice, Poland. In 1950 she came with her family to settle in Hay Lakes and finally in Edmonton in 1953. She attended Ross Sheppard High School where she met the love of her life and future husband, Wayne. Erika graduated from Business College and had an impressive career in the business world. She was named a Paul Harris Fellow by Rotary members in recognition of her exceptional service.
Predeceased by her husband and mother, she leaves to mourn her beloved children Jason and Jodi, relatives, and many friends. Auntie Del stood by her for all her days.
Erika lived most of her adult life with MS and then breast cancer. She faced both with optimistic determination. As a friend, Erika was charismatic, intelligent, generous, and kind. She touched many lives. Most of all she was a loving and devoted mother. Honoring her spirit, in place of flowers, donations will gratefully be accepted for Jodi and Jason. (J. Rudolph, #12, 9731 - 174 Street, T5T 6G4).
A Funeral Service will be held at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 9009 - 163 Street N.W. at 2:00 p.m., Thursday, August 11.

Those we love don't go away,
They walk beside us every day,
Unseen, unheard, but always near,
Still loved, still missed & very dear.
Those we love remain with us
For love itself lives on,
And cherished memories never fade
Because a loved one's gone.
Those we love can never be
More than a thought apart,
For as long as there is memory,
They'll live on in the heart.
