Lifetime resident of Mountain View
Ernie passed away peacefully in Mtn. View at age 88. Beloved husband of Ann Gamma for 41 years. Loving father of Ernie Gamma Jr, and the late Antone "Tony" Gamma. Loving stepfather of Joe (Tami), Katherine and Eddie Schweitzer. Brother in law of Al (Maria) Renner, Mike (Martha) Renner, and Louie Renner (Catherine). Louie and Ernie were business partners for over 20 years. Grandfather of Colten, Rylee and Kaitlyn. Great Grandfather of Ali Schweitzer. Also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. A member of the Mtn. View Historical Society and St. Joseph's Social Club. Owner of the Rumpus Room with his wife Ann for 10 years. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitations will be held on Sun. Jan. 4th from 3 p.m to 6 p.m. with a Rosary service at 4 p.m. at Cusimano Family Colonial Mortuary, 96 W. El Camino Real, Mtn. View. Funeral Mass will be held on Mon. Jan. 5th at 12 Noon at St. Joseph's Church, 582 Hope St., Mtn. View. Interment to follow at Santa Clara Mission Cemetery, Santa Clara.

Hello....my name is Renee. I am from sonoma County. I'm trying to reach Ernie Jr. My condolences to the family. I realize this is a few years back. However, I just came across an entire bin of financials. Quite odd. Certified documents. And I do not feel fight having them. If anyone gets this, I can be reached at 707-478-0304. Ernie was a very good man...as genuine as they come. He had a great smile and zest for life. I was very fortunate to know him and he will be sorely missed but not forgotten. My deepest condolences to his family and friends.

Uncle Ernie was a quiet pleasant guy, very easy to get along with. He surely will be missed by us all. Uncle Ernie and my dad, Louis, owned a couple of bars in Mountain View. One night after closing down the Mountain View park, Ernie ran all the way to the 108 Club! Run?? My father told me he ran track in high school. Ernie loved Mountain View and his ranch in Oakdale.
