Ernest Arthur Lenzen The passing of Ernest Arthur Lenzen, 88 years of age, occurred at Royal University Hospital, Saturday July 17, 2010. The Memorial Services will be held at Sherbrooke Community Centre, 401 Acadia Drive, Saskatoon on Thursday July 22, 2010 at 2:30 p.m. conducted by Rev. Ray Purdie. Surviving are his children: Marilyn Spence of Saskatoon, Donna (Bob) Samsone of Sterling, AB, Russell (Joylayne) Lenzen of Raymond, AB, Mitchel (Syndey) Lenzen, Qu'Appelle, SK, Ted (Val) Lenzen, Rhein, SK, Dale (Irene) Lenzen of Benalto, AB; step children Antonia (Ewald) Gossner, North Battleford, SK., Stephen (Leanne) Cherwinski of Mayfair, SK, Paul (Jan) Cherwinski, of Mayfair, SK, Maryann (Dave) Mischuk of Mayfair, SK; one brother; three sisters; numerous grandchildren great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his first wife Vera in 1982 his second wife Carrie in 2002 and his brother Ray. Ernest was a resident of Kinsmen Village House 4 for the last 4 years. Interment of cremated remains will take place in North Battleford City Cemetery, Friday, July 23, at 11:00 a.m. conducted by Rev. Fr. Val Besas. Friends may gather at Sallows and MacDonald Funeral Home, 1271 103rd Street at 10:30 a.m. to process to the cemetery. Condolences may be sent to the family through acadiamckaguesfuneralcentre.com. Donations in Ernest's memory may be given to The Canadian Diabetes Assoc. (104 2301 Ave. C N. S7L 5Z5) or Sherbrooke Community Centre (401 Acadia Dr. Saskatoon, SK S7H 3E7). Arrangements have been entrusted to David Grambo of AcadiaMcKague's Funeral Centre 955-1600.
