Esther Paine Obituary
11-27-1916 - 9-6-2007
Passed away peacefully Thursday, September 6, 2007 in Garden Grove at the age of 90. Esther was born in Sterling, Colorado, on November 27, 1916. She was preceded in death by her husband, Eldridge (Toby) Paine, in 1979. She and her husband moved to Redondo Beach from Grand Island, Nebraska, in the 1940's. They moved to Garden Grove in the early 1970's after briefly living in Heber City, Utah, where she enjoyed her ranch and horses. In addition to being a homemaker, she was a professional seamstress and later in life she became an apartment manager for many years in Garden Grove. Her joys in life included bowling, gardening and Hawaiian music. A private remembrance to celebrate her life was held Sunday, September 9th, 2007 in Redondo Beach by close friends who will miss her very much. THIS IS IN MEMORY OF GRANDMA PAINE WHO WAS ALWAYS SO LOVING AND SUPPORTIVE WITH ME. SHE WAS A STRONG WOMAN THAT HELPED TO MOLD MY LIFE FROM THE VERY BEGINNING. I THINK OF YOU OFTEN AND ADMIRE YOU AND YOUR PERSPECTIVE ON LIFE.
YOU WERE A BEAUTIFUL, GIVING WOMAN WHO WILL BE TRULY MISSED.
