MISHAWAKA - Mishawaka-Eugene Norman Kujawski, 89, passed away on Thursday, December 1, 2016 at the Waterford at Edison Lakes, Mishawaka.

Eugene was born on November 28, 1927 in South Bend to the late Anthony Paul and Julia (Przybyla) Kujawski. He was also preceded in death by a son, Gary; four sisters and a brother.

Surviving are children, Susan (John) White of South Bend, Claire (Dennis) Glass of Inglewood, CA, Neal (Kathy) Kujawski of Granger and Kenneth Kujawski of Granger; daughter-in-law, Linda Kujawski of Fayetteville, GA; his special companion, Ruth Maxwell of South Bend; nine grandchildren, Kerstin Youman, Melanie Russin, Josh Barth, Tara Kujawski, Jennifer Plaisance, Ashley Seymour, Cory Glass, Kevin Kujawski and Kyle Kujawski; 10 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.

Eugene was a Veteran of the United States Army. He worked as a pipe fitter for Zimmerman Industrial Piping until he retired. He was a member of PNA #83, ZB Falcons, MR Falcons, Union Plumbers and Pipe Fitters Local 172 in South Bend, Chain of Lakes Conservation Club and St. Joe Club in South Bend, he was also a former member of Volks Kring in South Bend.

A special thank you to the staff at Waterford and Heart to Heart Hospice for all the kindness and care shown to Eugene and his family.

A Memorial service will be on Tuesday, December 6 at 3 p.m., with visitation one hour prior, in Hahn Funeral Home, 505 W. 8th Street, Mishawaka.
