Flora Evelyn Liddell FLORENCE - Funeral services for Mrs. Flora Evelyn Perrin Liddell will be conducted 1:00 p.m. Thursday, September 30, 2010 at Mt. Moriah Baptist Church, McCormick, SC. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. She died on Sunday, September 26, 2010 in a local hospice care facility after an illness. Flora, the daughter of Will and Lois Perrin was born November 24, 1945 in McCormick, SC. She attended the public schools in McCormick, SC and Detroit, MI. She relocated to Detroit for most of her adult life but returned to McCormick to live where she was an Administrative Assistant for the South Carolina Department of Corrections. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a son, John Lord. Survivors are: a devoted daughter, Tameika (Victor) Coachman of Florence, SC; a loving son, Russell Lord of Detroit, MI; six grandchildren, Heidi Coachman, Crystal Coachman, Victor Coachman, Taqwann Fulton, Torian "Big Man" Coachman and Victoria "Princess" Coachman; three brothers, James Perrin and Charles Perrin both of Detroit, MI; and George (Jeanette) Holloway of McCormick, SC; five sisters, Lucille Perrin of Anderson, SC; Virginia Johnson and Lois Bennett of McCormick, SC; Nellie Burwell (Ronald) of Washington DC; and Louise Franklin of Pittsburg, PA; a special niece, Aleicia "My Lisa" O'Neal; and a host of other nieces, nephews, relatives and friends. I will miss Evelyn it want be the same going home not seeing her she always have smile on her face and she will be truly miss and my heart felt sypmathy goes out to the family keep your heads up and God will help you this hard time.

To the Coachman family: We feel the loss of this great family member. We are so appreciative to you for having allowed us to have Ms. Liddell as a part of our DayCare center. When she became independent of our services, we were happy for her, yet sorrowed that she would not be with us anymore. She was indeed a lady full of joy and wisdom. We still miss her, and now even the more, but God will bring peace and contentment to all of us. Miss her, but let her go. She is resting in the Blessed arms of our Lord and Maker. Her beauty must now be exemplified in the lives of you children and grands that she loved so dearly. You remain in our thoughts and sincere prayers. This comes from the hearts of the clients at Savannah Seniors Adult Day Care.
