Florence was an amazing woman - always very direct in her position on local politics - and always (for which I will always be grateful) a strong and vocal supporter of first my husband Dennis in his Tempe City Council service and then me, Meg, in my state House and Senate service toTempe. Moreover - Florence was an example of "old school Tempe citizens" - people who crossed party line to support candidates attempting to make Tempe a better, stronger community. Florence was ALWAYS there when Dennis or I needed help with getting a mailing out - in fact she would have been happier had we had MORE work for her to do. Florence made a difference for her community - and I will both miss her and always smile when I think of her. I am indeed lucky to have know Florence - and thank her for her long-standing community service. She will be missed by many in our community,
