Averil Pascoe, cherished mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister and friend, passed away suddenly, but peacefully at home, on Tuesday, February 11, 2014 at the age of 79 years. Averil is survived by her three children, Jill Umbach (Don), Jack Pascoe and Karen Ryan (Rob); her grandchildren, Eric (Anika), Jeff (Leanne) and Mike; her great-grandchildren, Keifer and Nolan; her siblings, Mae Moir (Gordon), Thomas Summers (Pat) and Jane Ann Summers; and brother-in-law Bill Lytle. She was predeceased by parents Ron and Laura Summers; her mother Charlotte; and her sister Marlene Lytle. A Memorial Service will be held at McINNIS & HOLLOWAY'S, Chapel of the Bells (2720 Centre Street North) on Saturday, February 15, 2014 at 2:30 p.m. Condolences may be forwarded through www.mcinnisandholloway.com. In living memory of Frances Pascoe, a tree will be planted at Fish Creek Provincial Park.

How sad to hear Avril is no longer with us. She will be missed by many.
Before i left for Mexico, I'm now sorry I hadn't stopped by to visit and of course to reassure her that I would do her taxes.
What a blessing that there was no suffering.
And what a shock to you personally. I know you helped her over the years and while there may have been differences at times, you were always present and loved her dearly.
I'm sure you are busy with arrangements and we wish that we could be there for undoubtedly a celebration of her life.
It is Valentine's Day here and we are bar-b-queing on our deck and will raise a glass in your mom's honour.
