91, of McKeesport, PA, died at the Riverside Care Center in McKeesport, PA. Beloved wife, mother, sister, godmother, and devoted friend to many throughout her life, departed this life this day, Wednesday, November 13, 2013, to everlasting peace. Born September 22, 1922, and lifelong resident of McKeesport, PA. Daughter of the late Frank and Mary (Nowak) Skop. Survived by her son, Jay; and her faithful protector and companion, Chance; sister and brother- in-law, Regina (Adrian) Hrynyk; sister, Gertrude Kepich; brother- in-law, Jack Barr; John and sisters-in-law, Donna Jean Sebbens and Emily Barr; also survived by nieces, nephews, her wonderful neighbors, and the many friends she loved throughout her life. Preceded in death by her husband, Joseph S. Sebbens; brother, Edward Skop; sister, Valeria (Skop) (Julius) Balogh; niece, Beth Balogh; sister, Genevieve (Skop) (Steven) Cerniga; niece, Stephanie Cerniga; and brother-in-law, Edward Kepich; brother and sister-in-law, Edward and Dorothy Sebbens. Frances was a member of Corpus Christi Parish in McKeesport, Christian Mothers of St. Mary Czestochowa Church and Polish National Alliance. A salesperson for Gala Jewelry in McKeesport for 43 years. Donations in her honor may be made to the Corpus Christi Parish, 2515 Versailles Avenue, McKeesport, PA 15132 or Western Pennsylvania Humane Society, 1101 Western Avenue, Pittsburgh, PA 15233. Friends will be received Saturday from 4 to 7 p.m. and Sunday 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. at the JAYCOX - JAWORSKI FUNERAL HOME, INC., 2703 O'Neil Blvd., McKeesport, PA 15132. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at Corpus Christi Church on Monday at 10 a.m. with Father Stephen A. Kresak officiating. Interment will be held in St. Mary's Polish Cemetery, White Oak.
