FRANCES UNDERSTINE ZOSLOW
On Friday, March 29, 2013, FRANCES UNDERSTINE ZOSLOW of Washington, DC. Beloved wife of the late Jack Zoslow. Loving mother of Susan Zoslow (Dr. Joseph) Milzman, the late Harold (surviving, Sylvia) and the late Arnold (surviving, Barbara) Zoslow. Cherished grandmother of Dr. Dave Milzman (Dr. Colette Magnant), Bruce (Melissa) Milzman D.D.S., Michael, Ray, Justin Lee and Leslie Zoslow. Dear great-grandmother of Matt, Jesse, Danny and Harrison Beckett Milzman, and Bella Zoslow. Graveside funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 3, 2013, 11 a.m. at Elesavetgrad Cemetery, 3233 - 15th Place, SE, Washington, DC. After the interment the family will receive relatives and friends at Springhouse, 5101 Ridgefield Rd., Bethesda, MD. After that, Shiva will be observed at the home of Dr. Joseph and Susan Milzman starting at 6:30 p.m. Memorial contributions may be made to B'nai Israel Congregation, 6301 Montrose Road, Rockville, MD 20852. Arrangements entrusted to TORCHINSKY HEBREW FUNERAL HOME, 202-541-1001 (endorsed by the Rabbinical Council of Greater Washington).

Frannie played gin rummy with my mother, Sara Goldstein Trabish for many, many years. I will remember Fran as always kind and forever lively. The last time I saw her was in the elevator of the Irene, about 6 years ago. She was, amazingly, as happy and alert as ever! She is unforgettable.

I have such fond memories of Fran when she was our backyard neighbor while growing up on Springdale Street. She had the most beautiful smile and though I was very young, I remember her as being always so happy. I am very sorry for your loss.

Thanks to all those she knew and touched in her 75 years as a nurse and even more as a mother, grandmother, great grandmother, aunt and friend to all she met.
