Frank William Rutledge Jr. Frank William Rutledge, Jr., 56, of 210 Janeway, died Sunday, December 28, 2014. Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Frank William Rutledge, Sr. and Linda J. Allen. He was a graduate of Greenwood High School and retired from Greenwood Metropolitan District. He was a member of Lupo Memorial United Methodist Church. Surviving is his daughter, Susan Buchanan and two sons, Frank William "Will" Rutledge, III and Timothy E. Rutledge, all of Greenwood; his brother, Andy Rutledge (Kelly) of Lexington; grandchildren, Elizabeth Seabolt, Samantha Seabolt and Ashlen Buchanan, all of Greenwood; his former wife, Lynda Rutledge of Greenwood; nieces and nephews, Hannah and Drew Rutledge of Lexington, Carisa Gardenour Jackson and Brice Gardenour, both of Grapevine, TX. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sharon Gardenour. A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at the Harley Funeral Home Chapel with the Rev. Paul Rogers officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service. The family is at the home of Beth Hyman, 115 Brookwood Lane. It is respectfully requested that flowers be omitted and memorials made to the Connie Maxwell Student Transitional Assistance Fund (STAF), PO Box 1178, Greenwood, SC 29648. its been a week today that i found out that you was gone. you was and always will be my best friend. i know you are in no more pain and is flying high. just not to high so that when i need a little push i will feel you pushing. love you always my friend.
