FRANK EDWARD WALLACE
February 11, 1937 – December 1, 2009


FRANK EDWARD WALLACE, age 72, died peacefully on the afternoon of December 1, 2009 in Houston Texas. He was born on February 11, 1937 in Cleveland, Texas and the third son born of the late Norman Ercell Wallace Sr. and Mattie Bea Everett.

After his service in the U. S. Marine Corp, he began in a lifelong career in the oilfield industry until his retirement seven years ago due to health reasons. Frank has many hobbies throughout his life including hunting and fishing, but his greatest passion in life was his family. They will always remember him as a loving husband, father, grandfather, brother and friend.

Frank is survived by his beloved wife of 36 years, Joyce Durand Wallace and two daughters, Kimberly Cox and Leslie Conrads. He was also doting grandfather to Wynn Conrads and Cassidy Cox. Other family members include his brothers; Dr. Norman Wallace Jr. and wife Helen of Beeville, TX and Don Wallace and wife Pat of Cisco, TX; sister, Amber Branch of Cleveland, TX; and in-laws, Lloyd Durand and wife Margaret; along with many niece and nephews, cousins and friends.

The family will receive friends from 4:00 to 7:00pm, Sunday, December 6, 2009 at Memorial Oaks Funeral Home. His services will follow on Monday, December 7, 2009 at 10:00am at the funeral home.

The family requests that in lieu of flowers, donations be made in Mr. Wallace's name to the Fisher House, 2002 Holcombe Boulevard, Houston, TX 77030.
