WIELOCK
FRANK R. III
December 24, 1954 - October 15, 2017. In the blink of an eye, our lives have been forever changed. Frank, age 62, of Arlington, went quickly to be with those that we love of our past. Born Christmas Eve 1954, he was the best Christmas present to his parents, the late Frank and June (Ahernholtz) Wielock. In the autumn sunshine he married the love of his life, Donna Grace (McAfee) where they have made a life dedicated to their family for nearly 32 years. A father some say by unconventional means, he took three Italian-American kids for his own, gave them a Polish last name, and taught them about the need for fresh kielbasa on holidays. He will be forever missed by "his" kids, Sue Wielock, Georgean (Eddie) Orr, and Christopher (Alicia) Wielock. With all this Frank would tell you his best days were yet to come. It happened on March 9, 2011, when his first grandchild and best buddy, Grant Orr, was born. A mere 23 months later his heart was even bigger when his granddaughter and princess, Gillian Grace Orr made her entrance. In such a small time, the trio made a million memories that no one could ever replace. A great man, he was the doting big brother of Jackie (Dave) Wierzchowski, Kathy Singer, John (Debbie), Robert (Annette), Bill (Bobbi), and Dawn (Rich) Bowen; and a pretty awesome brother-in-law to Clifford (Linda) and James (Patty) McAfee. Frank is also survived by many nieces, nephews, family, friends, and very special neighbors. Friends will be received at the JOHN F. SLATER FUNERAL HOME, INC., 412-881-4100, 4201 Brownsville Road, Brentwood 15227 on Wednesday, October 18, 2017, from 2-8 p.m. Funeral prayer on Thursday morning at 10:15. Mass of Christian Burial in St. Sylvester Church at 11:00 a.m. A modest and simple man, in lieu of flowers, Frank would ask you to be kind to your neighbor, enjoy a cold one, and if the moment hits you, don't be afraid to put on Salt-N-Peppa's "Shoop" song and do the dance in his memory. Until we meet again, be in peace. We already miss you so much. Please send condolences to www.johnfslater.com.

Donna, Georgean, Susie and Chuckie - you have my deepest sympathy for your loss. Frank was a great guy, friend and family man.Treasure all the memories you had with him. I will always remember him from our bowling nights and weekends where we all got together as friends and had lots of fun times. His tribute was great and clearly explained what kind of person Frank was, a kind quiet soul that was nice to everyone. Find comfort in knowing that he will be in good hands when he bumps into his buddy Jack - now they can oversee Charcot street together.
