Fraser HORNE Obituary

Published by Calgary Herald from Jun. 15 to Jun. 16, 2018.
HORNE, Fraser Haworth
October 4, 1953 - November 17, 2017
Fraser Horne passed away doing what he loved best-boating in Florida and spending time with his adored Golden Retriever. Fraser is survived by his best friend and wife, Michele and their dog Toula, sisters Alice (Bain) McKay and Margaret Horne (Ken Christie); sister-in-law Leisa Townshend; brothers-in-law Tyler (Alby) and Aaron Luchko; mothers-in-law Evelyn Bonner and Elizabeth Luchko. He will lovingly be remembered by his nieces and nephews, Michael and Jason Christie; Craig, Anne, and David (Stephanie) McKay; Jacob and Liam Townshend; Alex and Emily Luchko, as well as his grandnephew Gabriel McKay. Fraser was predeceased by his parents Larry and Audrey Horne and his fathers-in-law Daniel Bonner and David Luchko. Fraser will be lovingly remembered as a wonderful uncle, friend, and colleague; lover of rock n' roll and red wine; avid traveller, and photographer. Fraser adored and was devoted to Toula and his late Golden Retrievers, Hemingway and Barclay. We will all miss him dearly. Memorial donations can be made to the Calgary Humane Society or the Michael J. Fox Foundation. A private celebration of his life will be held with family and friends.

Dearest Michelle, I was saddened to read this in the paper this morning. My name is Lisa Ryall and I owned the dog daycare you brought Hemingway and Barclay to. You and Fraser were simply two of the nicest people one could meet and the greatest of puppy parents. Fraser always took the time to chat, was friendly and genuine and I am truly sorry for your and the family's loss.
