Freda L. Martz, 72, of Columbia, passed away Thursday, August 31, 2017, at Boone Hospital Center in Columbia, MO.
Visitation will be on Sunday, September 3, 2017 at Memorial Funeral Home from 1:00 PM -3:00 PM. Funeral services will be on Monday, September 4, 2017 at 10:00 AM at the funeral home.
Freda was born on October 27, 1944 in Oakes, ND, the daughter of Fred and Emily (Schumacher) Kutschinske who preceded her in death. She was married on August 16, 1964 in Columbia, MO to Thomas Martz who preceded her in death on November 25, 2012. She was also preceded in death by two sisters, Leola Crandell and Esther Johnson.
Survivors include: two children, Matthew Martz (Elizabeth) of Grant City, MO and Mary Anna Dewey (Robert) of Columbia, MO; two granddaughters, Emily Martz and Dora Martz, and one brother, John Kutschinske of Oakes, ND.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Relay for Life (American Cancer Society) in care of Memorial Funeral Home.
