Funeral services for Mr. Freddie B. Cannon of 206 Horton Drive, Americus, Ga., will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 21, 2009, at Zion Hill Baptist Church. The Rev. W. J. Hill will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The remains will lie in repose at the church one hour prior to the services.Mr. Freddie B. Cannon was born on Oct. 2, 1939, in Sumter County, Georgia to the parentage of the late Mr. Joe Cannon and the late Mrs. Susie Mae Allen Cannon.He leaves to mourn his passing, one sister, Mrs. Pauline (Thomas) Austin; one uncle, Mr. Charles (Sara) Allen; his nieces and nephews, Mrs. Bernice (Johnny) Carson, Mrs. Susie (Lewis) Breedlove, Mrs. Irene (Carl) Jackson, Mrs. Bertha (Ronnie) Waymon, Mr. Freddie (Jada) Carson, Mr. Jessie (Ann) Carson, Mr. Toney (Minister Addie) Carson and Mr. Eddie (Jewel) Merritt; and a host of other relatives and friends. Barnum Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
