BURLOCK, Frederick George - Fred passed away peacefully at home May 8, 2015 at the age of 73. Loving husband of Linda (Penny) Burlock. Father of Brent Burlock. Grandfather of Jake, Wyatt and Lindsay Burlock. Fred is survived by sister Jean Inglis. Predeceased by brothers Glen Burlock (Marj) and Frank Burlock (Bonnie). Uncle to many, but special to Janice Huard (Cinder) who was always there through good and bad. Fred served our country as a Royal Canadian Engineer (Sapper) for 11 years. He had a distinguished career of more than 25 years with the Ontario Ministry of Transportation, eventually retiring in Niagara Falls. Fred's family owe many thanks to numerous special people after years of care, but none more than Fred's PSW and friend Billie Crandell. Thanks for all your laughs, compassionate care and support Billie. Thanks to special nurse Laura, Dr. Nagel, CCAC and PSW Rachel and Alex. "It's hard to soar with the eagles when you are surrounded by turkeys. You're surely soaring with the eagles now Fred." Friend of Bill W. for over 30 years. Family is having Fred cremated and a Celebration of his Life will be held May 22nd at 2 p.m. at St. John's Anglican Church, 3428 Portage Rd., Niagara Falls. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the Heart & Stroke Foundation or a charity of your choice.
