Gail Adinolfi Obituary

Published by Legacy Remembers on Dec. 27, 2016.
WAXHAW, N.C. - Gail Marie Carroll Adinolfi died on Dec. 20, 2016, surrounded by David, her husband, and her loving children Colleen, David and Elizabeth. She was a devoted wife, fiercely protective mother and doting grandmother to Bobby Brockway, John and Colleen West.
Gail was born in Fair Haven, Vermont, and spent her young life as an athlete and head cheerleader. She graduated from the University of Vermont in 1960 and moved to Schenectady, New York, where she began her 40-plus year career as a dental hygienist. In Schenectady, she met David Adinolfi at a party. They were married in 1963.
Over the course of their 53-year marriage, they had three children and settled in Ballston Spa, and later in Cortland, New York. In 1995, she and her husband moved to North Carolina, where they recently resided in Waxhaw.
She loved her family, loved life and was a brilliant artist. Her family loves her beyond measure and her proudest achievement is her children.
In lieu of flowers, please donate to the Hospitality House of Charlotte or the Levine/Dickson Hospice House at Southminster in Charlotte.
